This cycle ride offers a way of exploring away from the Cuckmere estuary and beach which can get busy on sunny summer weekends. It can also be enjoyed as a walk. After rain or in winter parts of the trail can be muddy. The tops of the Downs can be surprisingly exposed in cold windy weather, especially in rain or low cloud, so come prepared! The Cuckmere Valley and riverside footpath can flood in wet winters; if in doubt phone the Seven Sisters Country Park before leaving home.

Assuming a constant pace and no stops, typically it will take 1 hour 12 minutes to cycle the distance and along the way 512 calories will be burnt.
