Since 1990 the Cuckoo Trail has been a leisure route used by walkers, cyclists and horseriders. It is extremely popular and is mainly off-road so is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
The picturesque trail follows the former 'Cuckoo Line' railway track and stretches from Heathfield to Eastbourne Park. It passes through Horam, Hailsham and Polegate.
Assuming a constant pace and no stops, typically it will take 1 hour 42 minutes to cycle the distance and along the way 723 calories will be burnt.

Good day to you , I jog daily, starting at Urban Jump Trampoline Park on the cuckoo trail. In 2 weeks and 1 day i have progressed from the reaching the first bridge before stopping-3 bridges or something or other- till today when i reached the 8th bridge-passing under 3-the last one being Horsebridge, where there is a sign saying 750 yards to Horam caravan park? Before finally collapsing 100 yards after the next bridge- an iron bridge covered in loose gravel-there is a TFF fencing and caravan park before this iron/graveled bridge. Could you tell me roughly how many miles that is?
