A circular walk through Little Missenden including a visit to Shardeloes House and parkland. The trail follows the Misbourne Stream and then links back through Chilterns woodlands and farmland. This is walk two in the Chilterns AONB collection of Misbourne Valley trails. For the first walk please click here.

The River Misbourne rises above Great Missenden in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It flows for 17 miles (27km) through Little Missenden, Amersham and the Chalfonts to Denham, where it meets the River Colne. The Misbourne Valley walks are dedicated to the memory of Vic Wotton, who tirelessly campaigned for the recovery of the River Misbourne.
