Enjoy the pleasures of the River Thames, rolling countryside and Chiltern beechwoods on this Chilterns Country walk. It starts at Bourne End railway station which is served by trains from Maidenhead and Paddington.

This is the short version of the Little Marlow walk. It takes you along the Thames and around Little Marlow gravel pit which teems with birdlife. For the longer trail please click here.

The trail is an almost flat route following the Thames Path National Trail to the flooded Spade Oak gravel pits. The gravel pits are now a haven for wildlife, particularly birds, with good access to the waterside on permissive routes.
