Paths pass through attractive deciduous woodland with many fine trees and abundant birdlife. The wide 'rides' and hazel coppice in this wood add visual and wildlife interest.
Assuming a constant pace and no stops, typically it will take 27 minutes to walk the distance and along the way 125 calories will be burnt.

Brasenose Woods is part of the wider Shotover Country Park, owned and managed by Oxford City Council. This route is an 'easy access' trail promoted for wheelchair users. Parking for Blue Badge holders only is available at Brasenose Farm. Access for walkers is via the bypass pedestrian crossing. Most of Shotover can be explored and there is a car park that gives direct access. The best way to find out is using the leaflet available at www.oxford.gov.uk/PageRender/decLP/Shotover_Country_Park_occw.htm

I do not know how to start the walk. There is no information as to how one gets to the start of the trail. A map is all very well, but it doesn't show the access to the starting point.
