The White Cliffs Country Trail consists of three colour-coded trails - red, blue and yellow. You can choose to complete the whole trail at once which will take a full day if you visit some of the attractions along the way or you can do each trail at a time. This cycling trail is part of the National Cycle Network so look out for the blue signs along the way.

This trail covers Dover with it's majestic castle and impressive port, Deal and Walmer with their enchanting castles built by King Henry VIII to defend our shores in case of attack from France, and Sandwich a fine example of a Medieval town. This trail involves a very steep ascent up Castle Hill but on leaving Dover the route follows mainly country and coastal routes taking in quintessential English countryside, quaint villages and striking sea views.
