The Wealdway connects the Thames Estuary with the English Channel through the Weald of Kent and Sussex, spanning chalk downlands, river valleys and wooded farmland in often remote country, including a full traverse of Ashdown Forest. It links the North Downs Way at Trottiscliffe with the South Downs Way near to Eastbourne.

This trail covers the Kent part of the path from Gordon Promenade in Gravesend to the border with Sussex near the village of Ashurst. For the Sussex section please click here.
