The South Downs Way is a long-distance path from Winchester in Hampshire to the white cliffs of Eastbourne in Sussex. The path is open to walkers, cyclists and horse-riders and is free of motorised traffic for almost the entire length.
This trail covers the Hampshire part of the path from the centre of Winchester to the pretty village of South Harting close to the Hampshire / Sussex border. See also the Sussex section.
Assuming a constant pace and no stops, typically it will take 9 hours 2 minutes to walk the distance and along the way 2415 calories will be burnt.
