The Valley of Stones is named after the sarsen stones that are scattered across the area. Part of the Bridehead estate, it is a nature reserve managed by Natural England.
This circuit from the historic village of Abbotsbury heads north to Litton Cheney before returning via Long Bredy and Littlebredy. It is part of a larger cycle tour of the area designed by West Dorset District Council, see also Valley of Stones: Portesham.
Assuming a constant pace and no stops, typically it will take 1 hour 26 minutes to cycle the distance and along the way 607 calories will be burnt.
