The Stour Valley Way is a long-distance footpath from the village of Stourton in Wiltshire to Hengistbury Head on the Dorset coast near Christchurch. Following the River Stour it passes through numerous pretty villages and small towns including Gillingham, Wimborne, Sturminster Newton, Stourpaine and Blandford St. Mary.
