Spanning 630 miles from Minehead in North Somerset to Poole Harbour in Dorset the South West Coast Path is Britain's longest footpath. As a single undertaking the challenge should not be underestimated.

This trail covers the part of the path from the Devon / Dorset border near Lyme Regis to Weymouth seafront via Chesil Beach and the Portland Peninsula. For the section from Weymouth to the trail terminus at Poole Harbour please click here. See also the South Dorset Ridgeway.
